Grout?
I hope you all missed me yesterday, for I did not write on my blog. Yesterday was Sunday and I consider it family day and very special to me, so I really wanted to write about puppies or babies or something special, but I just could think of anything.
I do have some things to say today however. Last night Brody (My son) (I will now refer to Brody as my son, or Brody or boy or eldest son) Anyways, last night Brody was sleeping in our bed with Mommy. (My wife, or Nikki) and he wanted a drink of water. As the good father that I am, I fetched it for him. He took a small drink of a fairly full glass then handed it back to me. It then slipped out of my hand and all over Nikki and her side of the bed. She screamed and I with a small chuckle, kissed her and said “Have a good night sweetheart” She didn’t appreciate my humor and made me sleep on that side of the bed.
I couldn’t stop laughing, mostly to myself. I have to wonder sometimes if it is just I that really appreciates my humor. She sure didn’t have a lot to positive feedback for me last night. On the record though, It was really an accident, I just decided to make lemonade out of the lemons that had just been handed to my wife. Some would call me an optimist, some would call me a great person. I however just call me an optimistically great person.
Today’s tip I want you to carry with you throughout the day. Really think about this one. Is your driveway dirty? How hard would it be to scrub your driveway? Not easy eh? Well those stinking grout lines are the same way if they haven’t been sealed? Oil and grease just slips down those darn things and sometimes makes it impossible to clean.
Most builders do not seal the grout, it is usually something you need to have done after you move in. You can do it yourself or have a professional do it. You can even have your grout lines color sealed now, if you want to change the color of your grout lines. I’m thinking about doing my kitchen lines green to match my walls. I’ll take pics when I’m done.
