I am Nick Petersen from Bentonville Arkansas. I own Celestial Carpet Cleaning. HOWEVER, I am not here to shamelessly plug my company, even though it is ridiculously awesome.

I have been studying floors (mainly carpets) for 6 years. I have attended many trade shows and cleaning classes. I am not even close to being done studying and am really enjoy it.

I have a few buddies that think its pretty weird that I enjoy floors so much and even make fun of me. That is, until their dog uses their hallway as a bathroom or their child spills that red coolaid on the living room carpet. Then they call me in panic mode saying “Nick, you gotta give me some ideas on how to get this up before my wife gets home” Then my chuckling begins!! Oh how I love those times in my life!
One last thing for today, Why is it important to take care of your flooring? (I’ll try not to bore you to bad here) First, what got me thinking about it is, Flooring is a HUGE investment!! Did I say huge? I meant HUGE!! The more you know, the longer it will last, and the more beautiful it will be!
Second, It gets very dirty. True story. Change your HVAC filters, see how dirty they are? The same dust, dirt and allergens that filter through your HVAC also filter through your carpet and onto your flooring! Its Healthy to have a clean home.
To sum it up, I will give you tips and stories of my life and experiences to help you live a wonderful, clean and healthy life. So, if you read my blog every day, your days will be light, you will sleep better at night and you will be filthy filthy rich. (However I make no promises) I’m pretty sure though. (maybe)
